appearance
On meeting Curiosity, there are a few things that stand out immediately: the black indigo-like staining painted on their face, the brightness of their eyes, the whole ram-like horns and hooked tail thing, a thin scar that streaks across their nose and cheek, and the heavy scattering of dark cerulean freckles. For a tiefling hailing from the Sword Coast, they don't stand out overmuch. Light storm-grey skin yields to blush, the pinks even coming through in places without need for it, like the tips of elongated ears. Long lashes, long side-parted hair they occasionally braid against their scalp on one side... Really, they could look nearly human but for those few features. At least, they could until the other elements of their Mephistophelian heritage come into view.
Underneath their robes and other gear, Curiosity (like other tieflings) bears the ridges and incomplete formation of wings and myriad spikes common to the infernal influence that snakes through their lineage. Their collar, ribs, and hips all are lined in these not-quite protrusions; their scapulae sport underdeveloped and vestigial wings that never break away from the rest of the body, inverted and contributing to those spurs. Their teeth are instead sharp and pointed, save for the upper central and lateral incisors which remain flat-edged. Rather than nails like most humanoid species, tieflings possess what more closely resemble talons that practically serve as natural weapons along with those teeth. At the elbows, knees, and the base portion of their tail, they have what resemble what might have become layered and subdermal plating. And, along with all of that: more freckles.
Curiosity doesn't stand among the tallest of their peers and companions, being on the shorter side at just 5'2", and while they might seem dainty at first with their softer build, they scarcely move like it. Living in Baldur's Gate, one has to know how to take command of moving through a crowd, after all—though sometimes that means being able to sneak past someone and just maybe lift something from a shop with those slim hands of theirs... Not that they've done that in well over a decade! Of course not, pay no attention to... whatever's in their pack. As a sorcerer and warlock, Curiosity doesn't have too much need for physical prowess, but in moving and hauling goods, constant foot travel, and largely wielding staves, they remain fit.

abilities
background
A sorcerer from Baldur's Gate who makes their living through alchemy, and the sale and procurement of the necessary components for (in particular) potions and smaller elixirs. Not the easiest life considering competition and their shop being a little more hole-in-the-wall, but it's theirs. Until, at least, the whole matter of mind flayers and cults and gods.
Curiosity's name is what's known as a "virtue name". Typically, such names are indicative of a personal trait, ideal, or goal for the tiefling to realize. In Curiosity's case, the reason for this name change is linked to nothing other than their realization and acceptance of the concepts of change and fluidity, and the wildness of the world, recognized through the lens of their inherent magic and shaped into an unending question. Everything is in a constant state of "Becoming", to their mind, and they take comfort in that. At this time, Tulzi has become Curiosity. It suits them, they feel. Maybe they'll become Tulzi again later. Maybe they'll become someone else, not truly different but changed.
